About Dr. Lenny
I'm Dr. Lenny Roberts, DC. 25 years in practice. Founder of Summit Spine & Wellness in Roxborough, Philadelphia — the neighborhood I grew up in. Team chiropractor for the Philadelphia 76ers (2009–2015) and Temple Football (2015–present). I built this site because patients keep telling me the same thing: "I needed this five years ago — and I needed it for free."

25 years in practice
Germantown Academy, class of '92. From there I walked on at Rowan University and played offensive line on a football team that went to the Division III national championship game in '93. On the last day of preseason camp, I blew out my knee. Staph infection set in. I almost lost the leg.
Six knee surgeries later, depression had me by the throat and food was the easiest thing to reach for. I ballooned to 340 pounds.I was 22 years old and could barely walk a flight of stairs without losing my breath.
So I made a choice. I was either going to live, or I was going to keep dying slowly.
I started training. Amateur boxing. Eventually, the 2006 San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon — 26.2 miles, the same legs the surgeons almost amputated. That experience is the entire reason I do what I do today. I know what it feels like to be stuck inside a body that won't cooperate. I know what it feels like to claw your way back.
I went to Life University in Marietta, Georgia and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2001. I came home to Philadelphia, opened Summit Spine & Wellness, and never looked back.
From 2009 to 2015 I served as team chiropractor for the Philadelphia 76ers. Since 2015 I've been team chiropractor for Temple University Football. Over the years my table has hosted Super Bowl champions, NFL Pro Bowlers, Olympic gold medalists, NBA champions, world champion rowers, and boxing world champions.
I say that not to brag. I say it because the same technique I use on a pro athlete is the same technique I use on a 72-year-old grandmother with a frozen shoulder, or a 14-year-old kid whose neck has been looking down at a phone for four years straight. The body is the body.
Here's the truth about my practice: 80% of what walks through my door is some flavor of tech neck. Hunched shoulders. Headaches that won't quit. Necks that lost their curve sometime around the iPhone 6. So I built the 21-Day Program — the distillation of everything I find myself saying to every new patient — and put it somewhere they can actually use it.
At Summit Spine and Wellness, we know how it feels to miss out on life.
Our mission is to Empower Families Toward Their Full Expression of Life. Feel better. Move better. Live better. That's the whole game.
I'm not a stuffy doctor in a white coat. I'm a real guy living a real life — wife, kids, practice, a phone in my pocket, a body that's getting older just like yours. I'd rather make this stuff useful than impressive.
